Since he was a child, Colt looked forward to visiting new locations. Seeing new places and spaces inspired a curiosity about their design and function. Now, he’s a senior landscape architect and his favorite projects are those that brighten the community’s daily lives.
Today, Colt designs spaces for people. From post-disaster redevelopment to award-winning estate design, he draws on his municipal planning background and understands the complex factors that can influence project decisions—from community needs to initial cost to end user maintenance. He uses his extensive design, horticultural consulting, and construction management experience to create parks and open spaces that his own children are excited to see.
Bringing his passion for outdoor spaces to his spare moments, Colt loves exploring nature with his family, biking, fishing, hiking, and roaming parks and projects he’s designed. His children’s enthusiasm and joy of experiencing those spaces motivates him to continue creating beautiful, useful, and integral places.
